This project combined social media strategy, content creation, and event management to showcase campus life and student engagement. I became a recognizable “Face of Pace,” executed Instagram Story takeovers for an account with 13k+ followers over two years, and helped plan, run, and promote events to highlight the student experience while strengthening community and leadership initiatives.

A showcase of campus marketing and student engagement initiatives developed as a Pace University Brand Ambassador. From Instagram takeovers to event promotion and collaborative content creation with the marketing team, each effort highlighted student life, strengthened campus connections, and elevated the university’s presence across social media.

Campus lifestyle photoshoot for Pace University in NYC, featuring myself and fellow student Tiffany crossing the street toward the main building. This shoot showcased brand representation and visual storytelling skills, helping establish us as recognizable faces of Pace while creating authentic imagery that could be used in social media and campus marketing campaigns.

Managed events, coordinated a group of 20 new students, and created an engaging and positive experience. This demonstrates leadership, event management, and student engagement skills, as well as the ability to represent the brand and community values.

Results & Reflection

Through this experience, I learned that representing a brand authentically requires balancing creativity with audience expectations. Strong campaigns come from careful planning, testing content, and adapting strategies to engage the community effectively. Managing Instagram takeovers, student-focused content, and campus events strengthened my skills in social media strategy, visual storytelling, and collaborative marketing execution. I also learned how to work with a professional marketing coordinator to align student-led initiatives with broader brand goals.

The initiatives successfully increased student engagement and awareness of campus events. Instagram takeovers provided authentic student perspectives, resulting in higher follower interaction and attendance at promoted events. Working on these projects helped me refine my communication, teamwork, and project management skills while leaving a lasting impact on how the university connects with its student body.
