Red Carpet Recital Photos
Captured families on the red carpet at recitals and posted photos within 5 minutes after each session to maintain excitement. Managed bulk uploads (5–7 sessions/day) during all-day events, giving families keepsakes while keeping social engagement high.
Student Achievement Highlight
Featured students holding completed piano books or milestones to celebrate achievements and build a sense of community. Highlighted progress both inside and outside the academy.
Lesson Spotlight
Showcased teacher-student interactions during lessons to inspire prospective students and maintain excitement for current students. Carefully scheduled shoots to avoid duplicates and ensure comfort, especially for young students.
Teacher Seasonal Videos
Coordinated with 20+ teachers to create seasonal music videos. This fall-themed video highlighted a teacher’s performance and showcased the academy’s talented instructors while aligning with seasonal content.
Recital Performance Video
Filmed, edited, and posted student recital performances on YouTube. Edited both long-form and short-form clips (YouTube Shorts) to maximize engagement and showcase talent. Managed YouTube comments for community interaction.
Teacher Spotlight
Highlighted teachers performing themed pieces, like the Michael Myers piano theme for Friday the 13th, to keep content fresh and engaging while emphasizing faculty talent.
Halloween Parade Video
Managed the entire Halloween parade project, including creating a Google Form for costume submissions, collecting photos, editing into a cohesive video, and posting on YouTube. Turnaround was fast to accommodate last-minute submissions.
Spirit Month Event
Created, managed, and marketed Spirit Month events for students who attend weekly lessons. Themed weeks included Decades, Career, Music, and Colors, concluding with a contest for students to share their outfits online.
Teacher Performance Video
Managed multi-teacher performances despite conflicting schedules. Gathered sheet music, recorded individual instruments, and edited them together into a cohesive performance. This became a recurring seasonal video project each year.

Results & Reflection
Gained hands-on experience managing social media for YouTube and TikTok from a business perspective, learning how to plan, create, and execute content across multiple platforms. Developed event planning skills through Spirit Month, recitals, and themed content projects, managing a team of four to handle photography and event logistics. Learned to adapt quickly under tight deadlines, balancing creative vision with the need for fast turnaround. The work generated increased engagement, sparked conversations among students and families, and contributed to a measurable rise in social media followers and lesson sign-ups. This role reinforced the importance of organization, scheduling, and collaboration to deliver consistent, engaging content while keeping projects on track.
