Revving Up Design

A showcase of poster and brochure mockups developed for the Hudson Auto Expo. Each design explores a unique aesthetic—from antique-inspired layouts to modern, mixed styles—while clearly presenting key event information. By experimenting with color palettes, typography, and graphics, these concepts highlight creative flexibility and demonstrate how visual design can engage attendees, attract sponsors, and bring the excitement of the car show to life.

Built To Stand out

A custom car show board created for a 2021 Jeep Wrangler, designed to celebrate the client’s fully personalized build. The board’s bold green color mirrors the Jeep itself, instantly connecting the display to the vehicle while maintaining visual impact. It highlights all the key information the client wanted to showcase, from specifications to standout features, ensuring enthusiasts understand the uniqueness of this custom project. In addition, the board includes a visual timeline of the Jeep’s transformation, showing its evolution from the initial build to its current form with nearly all custom parts. By combining vibrant imagery, detailed descriptions, and a cohesive layout, this board tells the story of a truly one-of-a-kind Jeep while engaging car show attendees and highlighting the owner’s creativity and craftsmanship.

Results & Reflection

This body of work showcases both client-focused and conceptual design projects, each highlighting storytelling, clarity, and visual impact. The custom 2021 Jeep Wrangler board successfully translated the client’s vision, matching the Jeep’s green color, featuring key specifications, and displaying a visual timeline of the nearly fully custom build. It engaged attendees while celebrating the owner’s craftsmanship.

The Hudson Auto Expo posters and brochures explored multiple aesthetics, from antique-inspired layouts to modern, mixed styles, experimenting with color palettes, typography, and graphics. Each piece clearly presented event information while demonstrating creative flexibility and audience engagement strategies.

Through these projects, I strengthened my ability to balance client needs with design exploration, convey complex information visually, and adapt layouts for both print and display contexts. These experiences reinforced the importance of visual storytelling, hierarchy, and cohesive branding, whether presenting a custom vehicle or promoting a large-scale event.
